**It would be a good idea to stock up on supplies that your child will need during the year, especially glue sticks and pencils. School supplies are usually less expensive in August/September, so buy extra of things like glue sticks, pencils, paper, and crayons. Those are usually items that need to be replenished more often during the school year. When school begins, a particular teacher may have a specific request for his/her class.
